Broadband critical for future success

HIGH-QUALITY broadband is as critical to Ireland’s economic success into the future as is our improving roads infrastructure and having a high-speed and affordable service is critical for our small and medium-sized enterprises, a seminar has heard.

Broadband “ticks all the boxes”, helping create and sustain jobs and reducing SME costs, as well as providing opportunities for learning online, delegates at the Southern and Eastern Regional Assembly’s ‘Broadband Strengthening Your Business’ seminar heard.

The National Broadband Scheme, due to be rolled out next month, could not have come at a better time for business as well as home users, particularly where costs and time savings are concerned, according to seminar speaker Eugene Crehan.
