Cork wins South African investment

SOUTH AFRICA’S largest private electricity supplier is to invest €2 million in the opening of a base in Cork, which could eventually create up to 60 jobs.

Netelek Technology a subsidiary of Remig said Cork beat off competition from locations inSwitzerland, Britain and Australia to win the investment.

Ireland was chosen because of its stable democracy, its membership of the EU and the quality of its people, according CEO Chris Bosch.
