One in three employees want to leave

A THIRD of Irish employees actively distrust or have a low trust of their employer and want to leave their current workplace.

That is according to a survey by employee communications consultancy Insidedge which polled 400 workers in large and small businesses, as well as public sector staff.

It said that soaring unemployment and worries for the local economy are fostering a climate of fear in workplaces across Ireland, denting productivity and morale among thousands of staff who doubt their bosses are telling them the truth about their future.
