C&C sees Magners sales decline

SALES of C&C Group’s Magners cider declined in British stores last month, Goodbody Stockbrokers said, citing data from research company AC Nielsen.

The quantity of Magners sold in the so-called off-trade business declined 20% in the four weeks ended September 6 compared with the same period last year, Goodbody said. Sales at the Dublin-based company fell 17% from the previous month, it said.
