Electronics accessories firm raises nearly €15m in venture capital funds

CORK company PCH International has raised $21 million (€14.8m) in venture capital funding from three US companies.

PCH manufactures electronics accessories for a range of products — including MP3 players, digital cameras and headphones — and runs packaging and full supply chain management services for a number of international blue chip clients.

Its headquarters are in Cork, but its operations base is in China. Most of its supply clients are based in Europe and the US and its links with Silicon Valley proved to be the attraction to its latest investors.
