Experts attend biofuel conference

EXPERTS in biofuel technology and policy from 15 OECD countries including Australia, Canada, Denmark, Germany and the US will address the International Energy Agency at a symposium in University College Cork tomorrow.

Biofuel policy and practice in different countries, first and second generation biofuels; and the potential for biofuels in Northern Europe will be discussed.

Dr Jerry D Murphy of UCC and Professor Jack Saddler, University of British Columbia, will chair the symposium.
