Food inflation to take centre stage at Agricultural Science conference

FOOD inflation — a blip or a trend — is one of the questions being discussed at this year’s Agricultural Science Association national conference, which takes place in the Radisson Hotel Galway on September 12.

The theme of the conference, which will be addressed by leading Irish and international food industry executives and commentators, is Food — the Saviour in a Stalling Economy?

United States commentator, Bob Young, who is head of the American Farm Bureau, and Jeff Grant, former chairman of Meat and Wool New Zealand, will be among the speakers.
