Sale of Irish radio stations nears end

The Co Tipperary station, Tipp FM; Donegal station, Ocean FM; Mayo’s MidWest Radio; Kilkenny’s KCLR and KFM in Kildare are currently separately owned but look set to go for around €50m to a consortium led by former Scottish Radio Holdings boss, Richard Findlay.

Mr Findlay has been in a position of three-month exclusivity for combined bid since the mid-June. He is currently visiting each station and carrying out due diligence.
