Asda eyes Irish expansion

ASDA, Wal-Mart Stores’s British supermarket chain, may open stores in Ireland, the Sunday Business Post said, without saying where it got the information.

Asda executives have visited possible sites in Donegal, and other areas close to the border with Northern Ireland, the newspaper reported.
