Icon to hire 500 more by year end

ICON, Ireland’s largest clinical researcher, may hire 500 more new workers by the end of 2008, the Sunday Times said, citing chief executive Peter Gray.

Dublin-based Icon will raise the number of workers to 7,000 by the end of the year, the newspaper said. The company has hired an extra 600 people this year, bring the total to 6,500.
