WATERFORD Institute of Technology is gearing up for next week’s world-class business and education conference which will feature representatives from 20 countries and guest lecturers from Malaysia and the US.

The institute’s School of Education and Professional Development and the International Society for Business Education are hosting the 80th International SIEC-ISBE Conference, Global Changes — Local Challenges.

Among the guest speakers are Arts, Sports and Tourism Minister Martin Cullen; WIT head of development Dr Venie Martin; SIEC-ISBE international president Peg Saragina; and director of the National Centre for Partnership and Performance Lucy Fallon Byrne.
