Fyffes’ profit to match estimates

FYFFES PLC, the Irish tropical-fruit distributor, said profit this year will be in line with analysts' estimates, with the outcome “significantly weighed” toward the first half of the year.

The 2008 target for so-called adjusted earnings before interest and tax depends on Fyffes’ achieving an increase in average selling prices in all its markets, the company said yesterday.
