Airtricity enters two joint ventures

WIND energy company Airtricity — now owned by Scottish & Southern Energy (SSE) — has entered two separate joint ventures to develop wind farms in Portugal.

One is with Portuguese property development company, Riviera, to develop 250 megawatts of power while the second — with Hispano Lusa SL — aims to generate 150mw in northern Portugal.
