New EU chemicals regulation unveiled

FIRMS that import or manufacture chemicals can gain a competitive advantage by pre-registering for new REACH chemicals regulation, according to the Health and Safety Authority.

REACH is the new EU regulation that switches responsibility for the control and safe use of chemicals from regulatory authorities to businesses that manufacture, import or use chemicals or put them on the market.
