Jeweller gets Irish language award

BRIAN DE STAIC, who runs a chain of jewellery shops in Munster, was named entrepreneur of the year at the Business As Gaeilge awards in Dublin on Friday night.

The awards, jointly sponsored by Foras na Gaeilge and Accenture, recognise businesses which promote Irish. Other companies recognised included Cognotec, the Public Appointment Service, Carlsberg and Grafton Recruitment.
