Hibernian General MD to retire

HIBERNIAN GROUP yesterday announced the decision of Dick O’Driscoll, managing director of Hibernian General Insurance, to retire from the company in November this year.

Hibernian’s group finance director, Michael Murphy, was promoted to the position of deputy managing director of its general insurance business.

Murphy will, subject to necessary approvals, succeed O’Driscoll as managing director of Hibernian General Insurance on December 1.
