Drogheda practice is Smiles’ eighth

SMILES DENTAL SPA GROUP has acquired the Drogheda based McCaffrey Dental practice for a €500,000 consideration which includes the upgrading and outfitting of the practice’s premises.

The acquisition of an existing dental practice is the first for the group with several other acquisitions currently under negotiation.

Smiles now runs eight clinics in the country. Also yesterday WellPoint, the largest US health insurance company by customers, acquired DeCare Dental.
