UBM considering Irish tax-base move

PUBLISHER and events organiser United Business Media (UBM) is considering moving its tax base to Ireland from Britain, The Sunday Business Post reported.

UBM was not immediately available for comment. The report, which cited informed sources, said UBM could also look into expanding its Irish operations.

Low corporation tax of 12.5% is one of the cornerstones of Ireland’s attraction for foreign companies. In Britain the rate is 28%.
