Aminex shares up as US reserves revalued

AMINEX, the Irish oil and gas explorer with operations in Africa, rose to a two-month high in London trading after saying the value of its US reserves was about two- thirds higher than previously thought.

Aminex shares climbed 8.065% to €0.335, the highest since January 17.

The US reserves were valued at $143 million (€90.65m) as of December 31, an increase of about 66% on an earlier estimate, the Dublin-based company said yesterday in a statement.
