Polish bank to consider change

BANK ZACHODNI WBK, the Polish lender controlled by AIB, said the change of brand it is considering may cost between 200m and 400m zloty (€56m-€112m).

“We haven’t yet decided on the change” to a new name for the bank, chief executive officer Mateusz Morawiecki told reporters at a banking seminar in Warsaw yesterday.

“We will look at the results of our research after the summer holiday.”
