Staff numbers expected to rise

ACCORDING to a new employment outlook survey, published yesterday by recruitment specialist Manpower Ireland, 11% of Irish employers are expecting to hire more staff over the course of the next three months.

Employers in the construction industry are relatively positive — with about 8% of that sector’s respondents claiming they will probably be looking to boost staff numbers during the second quarter.
