Newcourt grows profits by 21%

PROFITS at Newcourt Group, the security guard and recruitment firm, rose by 21% last year.

The company, which is involved in recruitment, student accommodation and support services, said yesterday that profits rose to €9.28 million from €7.66m.

The company said the rise in profits was the result of a 42% surge in revenues to €165m. The company, which made three acquisitions in 2007, said the vast majority of the increase in revenue was down to organic growth.
