Fine Gael calls for GM foods debate

A DEBATE on GM foods is being sought by Fine Gael.

The party’s agriculture spokesman Michael Creed, TD, said he had called for discussions on the controversial subject.

“Whether we like it or not we have to face up to the reality of GM foods,” he said.
