VITAL Irish economic interests are in imminent danger at the world trade talks, the Irish Creamery Milk Suppliers’ Association warned yesterday.

Jackie Cahill, the association’s president, acknowledged Agriculture Minister Mary Coughlan for defending Irish agriculture.

But he said unelected EU bureaucrats are about to broker what amounts to a catastrophic sell-out at the World Trade Organisation (WTO) negotiations.
