Independent group launch two new titles

INDEPENDENT NEWS & MEDIA said yesterday it is to launch two new regional newspaper titles in the Waterford region — as part of its People group.

The Waterford People, launching today, will cover the city and the east of the county, while The Dungarvan People will cover the west of the county. The two titles will employ about 14 people. Both titles will be compact in format, will retail at €1.60 and be supported by national marketing campaigns.
