Talks over Dolmen Stockbrokers sale

INSURANCE and banking group Irish Life & Permanent is in talks to buy Dolmen Securities’ stockbroking business, aiming to beef up its position in the wealth management market, the Sunday Times reported.

A spokesman for Irish Life declined to comment on the report. Dolmen was not immediately available for comment.

The Sunday Times, citing sources, said talks were at an early stage to buy Dolmen Stockbrokers, which has offices in Dublin, Cork and Limerick.
