MINING company Kenmare says it has experienced teething problems at its Moma mine in Mozambique.

The mine was handed over to Kenmare last August and the first two shipments of the mineral ilmenite were made in December.

Kenmare said that power dips and problems with mining equipment had prevented the company from increasing production and the plant is operating at reduced levels until two vibratory screens are replaced.
