Insomnia acquired by Penninn

IRISH-OWNED coffee shop chain Insomnia has been acquired by Icelandic group, Penninn.

The purchase price is €12 million, but Penninn will assume debts of €4m, valuing the deal at €16m. Insomnia’s existing Irish shareholders will keep a 49% stake in the company.
