Kerry close to €170m food division sale

REOX Holdings is close to a deal with Kerry Group, worth in the region of €170 million, for the sale of its Irish-based consumer foods division, run by its Breeo Foods subsidiary.

Kerry Group were making “no comment” yesterday after Reox issued a statement saying it was in the final stages of selling the business to a third party.

It is understood Kerry is now the front runner to buy the brands that have been part of the Dairygold Group for generations that include Shaws, Galtee, Roscrea, Calvita, Dairygold, and the Mitchelstown brands.
