Payzone wins M50 payment contract

PAYZONE, which installs and manages automated teller machines, has won the contract to handle payments for barrier-free toll collection on Ireland’s M50 motorway.

Payzone, formed by the combination of Alphyra Group and Britain’s Cardpoint in 2007, won the contract from the toll operator BetEire Flow, it said in a statement.

Payzone said motorists will be able to pay tolls via the internet, mobile phone and 2,000 shops.
