Strong demand for quality

Marts: There was a small turnout of stock for end-of-year cattle sales at the marts yesterday where strong demand for quality animals maintained a very firm trade.

The final cattle sales for the year took place at Bandon, Kilkenny and Blessington Marts yesterday.

Said John Doyle, Blessington Mart: “Lots of customers keen to lay their hands on forward store cattle and very big money paid for suitable lots”.
