Market falls slightly on little news

The ISEQ index fell slightly yesterday with very little news flow to interest the markets. The Dublin Exchange dropped 25.21 points to 6,800.10.

In the banking sector AIB jumped 16c to €15.10 and Bank of Ireland fell 6c to €9.62. In the second line Anglo Irish fell 6c to €10.70 and Irish Life & Permanent shed 13c to €11.60.

Construction giant CRH lost 78c to €23.42 with over 1.5 million shares traded, while Kingspan slipped 21c to €10.17 and Grafton dipped 3c to €5.30.
