Mining group starts drilling

A first phase 1000m drill programme has started on the Lough Sheelin zinc-lead prospect, which consists of five licences covering 170km sq located in the Drumleery area of Meath/Cavan.

Chairman John Teeling said: “Shallow drilling 25 years’ ago discovered extensive low grade zinc/lead. We have reworked the data and completed a series of geophysical and geochemical surveys ... we have developed a new geological model that has generated a series of high quality drill targets.”
