Pay deal hailed as example to others

A NEW agreement on pay and conditions between Drimbawn Mushrooms and SIPTU was hailed yesterday as an example for others to follow.

Drimbawn, part of the Monaghan Mushrooms Group, has operations in Mayo and Kildare. SIPTU represents workers in these operations.

The Registered Employment Agreement was lodged with the Labour Court in Dublin.
