Ormonde positive on test drilling

ORMONDE MINING, the Navan-based mineral exploration company has announced “encouraging high grade” results from its latest test drilling round for Tungsten in Spain.

Ormonde positive on test drilling

Initial drilling at its Barruecopardo Tungsten Project in Salamanca in Western Spain intersected a three metre zone containing a 1% level of tungsten trioxide. The hole is part of a 700 metre long zone in the area, where Ormonde also mines for gold.

The company has been mainly drilling to the north of the existing open pit mine in the area. Its current known limits are 750 metres strike length and over 175 metres in depth.
