FG motion: reduce inflation and reform

Fine Gael’s enterprise spokesperson, Leo Varadkar, is to introduce a private members’ motion in the Dáil next week calling on the Government to Reduce inflation and introduce regulatory reform.

“Every November for the last three years, the NCC [National Competitiveness Council] report has pointed out that Ireland’s export competitiveness is deteriorating and our share of global trade is declining, in large part because of poor infrastructure and high rates of inflation,” he said.
