Trinity Biotech gets US tests approval

TRINITY BIOTECH PLC, Ireland’s largest maker of diagnostic tests, said US regulators approved a product designed to measure blood sugar levels and speed up diabetes tests.

The Food and Drug Administration cleared the point-of-care Tristat HbA1c system, Dublin-based Trinity said in a statement.
