O2 rings in 6.8% rise in revenues

MOBILE phone service provider O2, a subsidiary of Telefonica of Spain, has reported modest third-quarter growth in sales and profits yesterday.

Revenues on mobile phones totalled €243 million, a 6.8% increase on the same period last year.

Total sales reached €254m when broadband sales and other factors are included.
