Market in moderate recovery

THE ISEQ rebounded slightly yesterday following a negative week in the markets.

The Irish exchange gained 80c to 7,128. The financial sector finished 218 points stronger. AIB jumped 40c to €14.80. Bank of Ireland added 7c to €10.32. Irish Life and Permanent and Anglo Irish were 34c and 27c higher at €14.20 and €10.20.

The construction stocks were mixed. CRH gained 30c to €24.40 and Kingspan moved 45c ahead to €14.41 while Grafton Group and McInerney dropped 19c and 7c to €6.78 and €1.38.
