IT, Tralee to build €10.8m library

THE Institute of Technology, Tralee (IT, Tralee) has confirmed details of a €10.8 million infrastructure development on campus.

Work has commenced on a state-of-the-art library facility which will cover three floors and 3,529sq m. The library building is expected to be finished by early 2009.

Institute president Michael Carmody said: “We have always aimed to provide first-class facilities to our students and staff and this new library building will provide those studying and working on campus with a facility that we can all be proud of.”
