Stock exchange to halve trading fees
The exchange will charge securities companies between 25 cent and âŹ1.50 per trade depending on the number of transactions, according to director of trading Brian Healy.
âWe are aiming for a simpler, more transparent, cost-efficient system,â said Mr Healy.
The Markets in Financial Instruments Directive allows brokers across Europe to compete directly with exchanges to offer services that only market operators could provide.
