UPMARKET audio visual equipment maker Bang & Olufsen (B&O) Ireland expects annual growth of 10% in its Irish business over the coming years.

B&O forecasts 10% growth

The company said yesterday that its four Irish stores are performing well, with the company behind B&O in Ireland — B&C Audio Visual — picking up the brand’s Dealer of the Year Award for 2006-07, beating more than 100 dealerships across Britain and Ireland.

Bang & Olufsen Ireland is made up of four retail stores in Ireland, two in Dublin, one in Belfast and the most recently opened store in Douglas, Cork.

Within the trading area for Britain and Ireland, the Irish operation has gone from strength to strength over the last few years, according to a B&O spokeswoman.

“In the Irish market we are seeing a growth in the demand for areas such as home cinema and total home solutions, which incorporate fully integrated home entertainment systems running through the home, along with built-in lighting and blind systems,” she said.
