Andor expects profits increase

ANDOR TECHNOLOGY, the IEX-listed maker of high-end digital camera equipment for the scientific imaging and spectroscopy markets, said yesterday that it is expecting to generate full-year sales of over £21 million (€30.3m) — around 10% up on the previous year.

The company is due to announce results in early December.

“Strong sales growth in the key target markets of Europe and Asia has been offset by lower demand in the US research market and a further weakening of the US dollar,” said chief executive Conor Walsh.
