Global Shares brokers US deal
The agreement was announced by Enterprise Minister Micheál Martin during the Enterprise Ireland trade visit to the east coast of the US. Global employs 15 people at its west Cork base, supporting corporate clients on four continents.
The two firms will be working together to service select clients around the globe. Global Shares chief operating officer Maoiliosa O Culachain said: “Global Shares greatly appreciates the support the company has received from the minister and from Enterprise Ireland when setting up and developing a world class service for companies globally from west Cork, thereby providing excellent career prospects for many well educated young people in Ireland and the United States and the other countries in which Global Shares has operations.”
Citi Smith Barney continually seeks to identify and partner with those firms who can improve the services provided to its corporate clients and through this agreement with Citi Smith Barney Global Shares, it can continue to extend their combined reach into the expanding global market.
