The contract was signed during an Enterprise Ireland-backed trade mission to the US led by Enterprise Minister Micheál Martin. At the signing of the contract with Nationwide Electronics Inc in Washington DC, Mr Martin congratulated Advanced Innovations and its 29 workers at the Technology Park in Limerick for securing such a significant deal to deliver the TekVet supply chain contract.

Advanced Innovations vice-president Simon O’Keeffe said the company is thrilled to have been entrusted with the entire supply chain management of the contract, which enable the monitoring of beef cattle in massive rearing yards throughout the US. The technology assures the safety of the foodchain and protects against bio-terrorism, according to Mr O’Keeffe.
