‘1,500 vacancies in Irish motor sector’

UP to 1,500 job vacancies exist in the Irish motor sector, according to specialist motor consultancy Pragmatica.

The company has more than 750 positions on its books and estimate it is responsible for half the overall motor recruitment market. About 500 of the estimated job openings exist in Dublin and nearly 300 in Cork.

Pragmatica chief executive Pearce Flannery outlined the numbers needed by the industry at the announcement yesterday of a specialist motor recruitment roadshow at the Silver Springs Hotel, Cork, on September 28 and 29.
