Teagasc announce appointment

TEAGASC yesterday announced the appointment, with immediate effect, of Larry O’Loughlin as marketing and business development manager for advisory and training services.

Mr O’Loughlin will be responsible for leading the marketing of Teagasc’s new advisory service and its new entrant and adult courses. He will also liaise with Teagasc stakeholders including farmer clients and farmer organisations, and statutory bodies.

He comes from the position of regional education adult officer.

He has held the posts of acting head of public relations and customer communications, chief agricultural officer in Wicklow/Kildare and adviser in Laois/Kilkenny.
