Zeus buys rival Ashling for €1m

ZEUS Packaging, the Irish-owned paper cup manufacturer, has bought rival firm Ashling Manufacturing for around €1 million.

Dublin-based Zeus — which has a turnover in excess of €70m — offers a number of packaging services but counts paper cups (as used by the likes of O’Brien’s Sandwich Bars) as its busiest business stream.
