Arachas acquires Wright brokerage

INSURANCE broker Arachas has acquired the brokerage arm of the Wright Group for an undisclosed sum.

The deal will see Cork-based Arachas increase its workforce to 200 as it acquires the Wright Group offices in Kilkenny and Wexford, which employ 70 people.

Further expansion and acquisition plans are in place for the next two years for Arachas, one of the country’s largest independently-owned insurance brokerage firms.
