Hotel go-ahead for traffic blackspot
Moran Hotels, owners of the Red Cow Inn, near the infamous roundabout, confirmed it has got planning permission to build a 17-storey hotel and conference centre on the Naas Road, at a cost of €100 million.
It will have 488 bedrooms, plus the conference centre and is expected to create up to 300 new jobs.
The Red Cow Inn is to remain part of the group while the new hotel will take about two years to complete. A contractor is to be appointed shortly, the company said.
