Hotel go-ahead for traffic blackspot

ONE of Dublin’s traffic black spots is to have the country’s tallest hotel built close by on the Naas Road.

Moran Hotels, owners of the Red Cow Inn, near the infamous roundabout, confirmed it has got planning permission to build a 17-storey hotel and conference centre on the Naas Road, at a cost of €100 million.

It will have 488 bedrooms, plus the conference centre and is expected to create up to 300 new jobs.
